AgriFoodTure is the place where we can meet other companies

Circular Food Technology is a food-tech company based in Denmark, specializing in increasing the value of sidestreams. The company is a new partner in AgriFoodTure.

“We are a partner in AgriFoodTure because it is the place where we can meet other companies facing the same challenges as us. AgriFoodTure is contributing to the green transition by facilitating networks and partnerships that can collectively innovate new systems and products for a more sustainable food system in the future,” says Co-founder Karin Beukel.

Under the brand “Agrain,” Circular Food Technology transforms the spent grains from beer production into what they call a versatile super flour, rich in protein and fiber, with delicious aromas from the malt it originates from.

Finding new ways and partners is crucial for both Circular Food Technology and the agriculture and food system, according to Karin Beukel.

“For a long time, we have had a food system that is very linearly built, where partners participate in their respective shares of the value chain. We believe that in the future, there will be a circular food system, where partners are more closely connected. Therefore, partnerships are tremendously important,” she says.
