CEO Peder Tuborgh from Arla has been re-elected as the chairman of the board in the Danish innovation partnership AgriFoodTure.
With support from the Innovation Fund Denmark, the Danish innovation partnership AgriFoodTure has, since 2022, invested 126 million kroner in green innovation projects that aim to accelerate the green transition of the agriculture and food sector and increase the sector’s competitiveness.
Since its establishment, the chairman of the board has been CEO Peder Tuborgh from Arla Foods. Now the experienced chief executive has been re-elected as chairman for another term. Additionally, Eskild Holm Nielsen, Dean at Aarhus University, who has previously served as deputy chairman of the board, has been re-elected as deputy chairman.
“Since its establishment, AgriFoodTure has truly become a platform for transforming the Danish agriculture and food sector. We bring together all forces from companies, universities, knowledge institutions, and civil society to accelerate the green transition of the agrifood sector, and I am extremely pleased that Peder Tuborgh and Eskild Holm Nielsen will continue as chairman and deputy chairman,” says Anette Engelund Friis, Mission Director of AgriFoodTure.
AgriFoodTure has nearly 70 partners in the form of universities, knowledge institutions, and companies. The partnership recently announced that it will invest an additional 45 million kroner in green innovation projects in 2024.
