For Birger Eriksen, Managing Director at AgriFoodTure partner Sejet Plant Breeding, the cross-collaboration across the food value chain is one of the greatest benefit of the AgriFoodTure partnership.
“We have all the main players in the food industry sitting together with the universities and the breeding companies. It’s a way to go forward. You need to sit together,” says Birger Eriksen.
“Also, you need the industry to define the quality demands from their point of view. Otherwise we can’t do something about, for our part, the raw materials,” he adds.
